The 2013 Bay-Friendly Garden Tour marked the program’s 10-year anniversary with more than 1000 participants visiting over 30 home gardens in both Alameda and Napa Counties.
Although the gardens varied in style, they exhibited similar sustainability-oriented techniques and practices geared towards reducing waste and pollution, conserving natural resources, and creating vibrant landscapes for both people and wildlife.
If you participated in this year's tour, we would love to hear about your experience. Please take a moment to complete this quick survey.
As we’ve reached this milestone, we have decided to take a year off to reflect on the accomplishments of the past decade. During this sabbatical we will continue to seek out new opportunities to provide Bay Area gardeners with inspiring models of Bay-Friendly landscapes and, we encourage you to stay in touch through our Enewsletter, Facebook page, and blog.
