Spring Nursery Talks for Home Gardeners

Spring is an ideal time to convert your lawn, start a year-round edible garden, and establish California native and Mediterranean adapted plants. Learn all this at a Bay-Friendly Gardening event hosted by a local nursery.

Each talk includes valuable design information, and hands-on demonstrations. All participants will receive a complimentary Bay-Friendly Gardening Guide, and there will be drawings for garden gifts at the end of each talk.

All events are free and open to the public, and no prior registration is required.

Choosing and Using Fool-Proof Plants

Discover the best-suited drought tolerant Mediterranean adapted and California native plants for your garden. Horticulturist Susan Handjian will provide tips and trouble shooting on selecting and designing for appropriate plants, along with samples from the nursery.
